ITLS & PHTLS: A Comparison – Ever wondered what the difference is??…

International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) is a global organization dedicated to preventing death and disability from trauma through education and emergency care. ITLS educates emergency personnel to provide optimal care for the trauma patient. A variety of comprehensive education programs are available to meet the requirements of all levels and backgrounds of pre-hospital emergency personnel internationally, including ITLS Basic, Advanced, Pediatric, Military, and Access courses.

Medipro are an established pre-hospital education and training provider specialising in multiple disciplines of medicine. We require a new enthusiastic, professional and passionate individual to join our team. The post details are:
Job title: Clinical Tutor
Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £39,000 – £44,000 pa
Location: Darlington, Co Durham
Holiday: 6 weeks plus bank holidays
Suitable candidates must have:
  • HCPC paramedic registration (BSc) with a minimum of 3 years experience
  • Cert Ed or equivalent
  • Suitable teaching experience
The role will consist of formal classroom teaching and programme development. All our tutors are required to participate in monthly clinical mentorship and clinical practice as paramedics to help maintain skill fade and clinical skills.
There maybe requirements from time to time for international and UK wide travel.

Emergency oxygen for divers

As we are aware the HSE have altered the diving ACOPs, now stipulating that all offshore divers are required to be in possession of an O2 administration certificate.

We have 3 1/2 hour AM & PM sessions available for all divers who still require this, £60.00 per person including VAT.
