Funding and employer contribution

If you do not pay the apprenticeship levy, you typically pay 5% of training and assessment costs (up to the funding band maximum). Government funding covers the remaining 95%.

If you pay the levy, you can usually fund training and assessment through your apprenticeship service account (again, up to the funding band maximum).
