MediPro are excited to launch a new route to becoming a Level 4 Diploma Associate Ambulance Practitioner.
Designed for those already working at an Emergency Care Assistant level, this AAP ‘upskill’ course is delivered with a blended learning approach, combining supported online modules, classroom components and appropriate practice placements.
Learners on this course will spend four weeks in class, followed by 750 hours of mentored practice placement, completing their qualification within 36 weeks.
Approved by FutureQuals, learners on this course will receive a nationally recognised AAP award which is accepted by all UK ambulance trusts.
Before learners can start, they must have:
• Evidence of working as an Emergency Care Assistant (or equivalent scope of practice) supporting the NHS for a minimum of 6 months full-time. This can include the independent sector.
• An up-to-date care certificate standards within the last 18 months
• An employer who will support AAP scope of practice mentorship. Alternative placements can be arranged for you, but these must be agreed and in place before commencing the programme.
Once learners meet the entry criteria, they will be invited to complete a professional discussion with MediPro prior to any offer of a course place.
