The Out of Hospital Immediate Life Support (OHILS) Level 4 qualification is designed for healthcare professionals, emergency responders, and pre-hospital care providers who need to deliver rapid, high-quality life support in emergency situations outside of hospital settings.

The OHILS Level 4 qualification covers high-level pre-hospital life support techniques, ensuring learners can effectively respond to cardiac and medical emergencies. Key learning areas include:

This course is highly practical, ensuring learners gain real-world skills and confidence in time-sensitive emergency care situations.

Following completion of the course, learners will be awarded with QA Level 4 Award in Immediate Life Support – which is valid for 1 year.

Learners must hold a Level 4 in First Response Emergency Care or a suitable equivalent clinical qualification.
