The Completer Course focuses on assessing your ability to apply the ITLS trauma framework in high-pressure situations. The session includes:

  • Trauma Patient Assessment – A structured approach using the ITLS Primary and Secondary Survey.
  • Airway Management – Techniques for basic and advanced airway interventions.
  • Spinal Motion Restriction – Proper use of collars, boards, and manual stabilisation.
  • Bleeding Control & Shock Management – Tourniquet use, pressure dressings, and fluid considerations.
  • Practical Scenarios – Applying skills in realistic, time-critical trauma simulations.
  • Written Exam – Final knowledge assessment required for ITLS certification.

Following written and practical examinations a basic or advanced (depending on your clinical grade/experience) provider certificate will be awarded which is valid for 3 years from International Trauma Life Support.

Learner must have:

  • Completed the ITLS online theory module prior to attendance
  • Must have a role in emergency response, trauma care, or healthcare
  • Current clinical experience is recommended
