MediPro to launch Paramedic course
Our new Level 6 Paramedic Practitioner programme aims to support, educate, and develop learners into safe, engaging and effective practitioners.
This programme consists of Level 5 and Level 6 modules, delivered over four years, adopting a part-time model. It will be delivered from our training centre in Stockton-on-Tees.
Exceptional practice-based education including:
- NHS Hospitals
- NHS Ambulance Services
- NHS minor injury units
- Other relevant approved placement areas.
The minimum entry criteria for the course:
- Minimum of Literacy and Numeracy Level 2, or equivalent. Equivalent qualifications include GCSE level A*-C, or the new GCSE standard 9-4, Scotland National Level 5 or International Level 4 (PIAAC, AILS, ALL)
- Achievement of Level 4 Diploma in Associate Ambulance Practitioner (AAP), or equivalent.
Upon successful completion, you will receive a Level 6 Diploma Paramedic Practitioner qualification awarded by FutureQuals Awards (FQ) and be eligible to apply to the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) for Paramedic Registration.

East of England learners complete initial classroom learning
Congratulations to AEMT Cohort M6 at East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust. They finished their initial 12-week clinical training at our Newmarket training centre last month.
Well done everyone & best of luck with your clinical placements out on the road!
First LAS apprentices pass their End Point Assessment!
In December, the first learners from London Ambulance Service NHS Trust passed their End Point Assessment (EPA). They now are qualified as Emergency Ambulance Crew (EAC), where they will provide support alongside paramedics and technicians across Greater London.

MediPro attend Mental Health Symposium
They look great!Last year, MediPro took part in the Emergency Services Mental Health Symposium at Silverstone, organised by the College of Paramedics.
Speakers and delegates from 145 emergency responder organisations have come together to share learning, showcase work and discover how to maximise the impact they can have on improving wellbeing in their workforces.

Head of Planning gifted holiday to Mauritius after 10 years of service
